Kaiserschütze Rudolf Kessler, KuK K Sch Regt Nr 2.
Born at Klösterle, Austria on 8 February 1894, Rudolf was employed as a munitions worker before the outbreak of war. A serving soldier in the early days of the war, he was wounded in action in mid-1915 and died, whilst recuperating, at Dornbirn, Austria, where he is buried to this day.
