28 November 1915 Adj-chef Pierre Leon Bernard423 Adj-chef Pierre Leon Bernard, 15e Section de COA.

Born at Roanne, Loire (where he resided at 71, rue de Paris) on 2 April 1882, Pierre had seen previous service with the 14 RI from 1903. A recalled reservist in August 1914, he died of illness contracted during active service at Hospital No 1 on the Isle of Moudros on 28 November 1915. He is now buried in the French Military Cemetery at Sedd-ul-Behr (grave no 655).
