30 November 1914 Sjt Jean Emile Renoux

30 November 1914 Sjt Jean Emile Renoux1431 Sjt Jean Emile Renoux, 62 BCA.

From St-Priest-la-Prugne, Jean was born on 25 April 1887. His compulsory military service with the 22e BCA ended in 1910, but he was a recalled reservist of August 1914. After being enlisted into the 62e BCA at Albertville, Jean saw service in the Vosges and the Somme before moving to Belgium and the Ypres Salient in November. Jean was killed in action near St Eloi on 30 November 1914 and he has no known grave.
