30 December 1917 Nurse Lottie May Berry

30 December 1917 Nurse Lottie May BerryNurse Lottie May Berry, American Red Cross. Born on 27 October 1888 at Dunreith, Henry Cty, Indiana, Lottie graduated from Deaconess Hospital, Indianapolis in 1913. Enlisting into the Medical Corps in June 1917, she was assigned to Base Hospital No 32 upon arrival in France. Lottie contracted pneumonia and died in Naval Hospital No 1 at Brest, France. She was originally buried at Brest, but her body was later transferred to the Oise-Aisne American Cemetery at Fere en Tardenois.
