Sdt M Perard, 6e RIC.
Unfortunately, it has been impossible to discover much about Sdt Perard who appears to have been omitted from most official records other than his regimental casualty lists and his local roll of honour. From Renaison, he served in the Vosges throughout the first months of the war before moving to the Argonne front where he was killed in action on 7 January 1915. His grave location is also unrecorded.
