64 Sdt Joannes Louis Buisson, 98 RI.
Born at St Victor sur Rhin on 19 February 1892, Joannes was already serving his compulsory military service at the time of the outbreak of war. A combatant in the Battle of Morhange - Sarrebourg between 20-24 August 1914, he went on to see further action in Lorraine, Picardy and the Oise throughout the remainder of the year. He was wounded in action near the Foret de Laigue at the end of December 1914, and he died in hospital of his wounds on 12 January 1915. Grave location unknown.
