8074 Pte Reginald Victor Killeen, 3rd Dragoon Guards.
Born at Hoyland, Yorkshire, Reginald was living at Bolton-by-Bowland at the time of his enlistment. Enlisting into the 12th Lancers in September 1914, he was attached to the 3 DG upon seeing active service in France the following year and gained much trench experience before being killed in action near Vermelles on 25 January 1916. Reginald was 18 years of age and he now lies buried in Vermelles British Cemetery.
