3 March 1916 Sdt Laurent Achille Pin

3 March 1916 Sdt Laurent Achille Pin1340 Sdt 2 Cl Laurent Achille Pin, 110 RI.

Born at Le Coteau, Loire on 10 September 1885, Laurent resided at Roanne (61, rue de la Livatte) prior to his enlistement. A recalled reservist, he served on the Champagne, Woevre and Aisne fronts through 1915 before being moved to Verdun in February 1916. Laurent was mortally wounded near Douaumont on the night of 2 March 1916 and he died of his wounds the following day. His grave location is unknown.
