Filmmaker Ron King reads the last known entry of his grandfather's (John M. Vorys) World War One war journal. Vorys and his good friend Albert D. Sturtevant from the First Yale Unit (naval aviation) had traded places prior to the flight described. Sturtevant had been grounded by bad weather and was eager to participate in the war flight. When the weather cleared, Sturtevant asked Vorys if he could take his place on a flight the next day. They appealed to the C.O. and were granted permission to trade flights. This journal entry was written shortly after what would be Al Sturtevant's last flight. It was an experience that Vorys would never forget.
