Description

By 1918, the Great War ‘aces’ had become the stuff of legend and were powerful symbols for both sides. To their contemporaries, they were invincible. But the nature of war was changing. As the sheer number of planes in the air increased the skills of the aces became less relevant. This lecture will look at whole tragic story of the air war in 1918.
